Curiosity Day with Curious George
Saturday, September 17 , 1-4 p.m.


Explore your curiosity with everyone’s favorite little monkey, Curious George™! Saturday, September 17 is Curiosity Day 2016, a day in honor of authors Margaret & H.A. Rey’s lovable creation.

In the spirit of literacy, the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society is hosting FREE fun Curious George™ themed kid’s activities. At 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m., there will be a Curious George™ story time, followed by fun crafts, a snack, and Curious George™ videos on a big movie screen! Free Curious George™ books will be available to 100 families (Books handed out at each time slot. First come, first served; one book per family), courtesy of Reach Out and Read Connecticut and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. This program is made possible through the generous support of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and the Greater Hartford Arts Council.

Curiosity Day is free and open to the public; no registration required. The event will take place at the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. The museum is located at 227 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06107. Street parking is available.
