After-School Programs

After School Enrichment Programs at the Noah Webster House

April and May 2017 for ages 7-12

Beginning in April, the museum will offer an after school enrichment program twice a week. Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon drop your child off at the Noah Webster House from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Children will engage in fun hands-on activities. During the month of April, cooking workshops will be held for the young aspiring chef. Kids will cook a variety of different dishes to develop basic knife, and measuring skills. Dishes will be cooked on the open hearth and in a conventional oven.

During the month of May, in a series of textile workshops, kids will knit the old fashioned way, finger and arm knit, embroider and weave. Kids will receive an introduction to the textile arts. The program fee is $20 per child, per day ($15 for museum members). Pre-registration is required at (860) 521-5362 x 14 or email
