Noah Webster: Schoolmaster of America

School houseFilm

Visitors are introduced to Noah Webster by a new film that emphasizes Noah Webster’s impact on America’s education. The film was produced by award-winning documentary filmmaker Karyl Evans and is shown in a brand new orientation theater space that resembles the interior of a 19th-century schoolhouse.

The goal of the film is to impact visitors on a personal level and introduce the top three things that the museum wishes every visitor to know about Webster. These learning points are designed to complement the permanent exhibit on Webster and will be reinforced as the museum implements a new interpretive plan for the historic site and future programs.
