Children of all ages are invited to experience the magic of The Nutcracker at the Noah Webster House from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a fun filled morning of games, stories, crafts, gingerbread cookie decorating, photo opportunities, and a sneak peek of Ballet Theater Company’s holiday classic The Nutcracker.

- Performances – Ballet Theater Company will present excerpts from their upcoming production of The Nutcracker including Uncle Drosselmeyer’s dolls, replicas of Noah Webster and his Blue Back Speller Ballerina doll, who will come to life right before your eyes as well as Mother Ginger’s dancing Gingerbread Cookies.
- Story Time – Stephanie Detallas, Artistic Director for Ballet Theatre Company will lead an interactive story time telling the tale of Clara and her magical dream in the Land of the Sweets.
- Gingerbread Cookie Decorating – to eat or take home!
- Crafts and games
- Photo opportunity – Meet, greet, and take photos with the ballet dancers including The Snow Queen. Dress up is encouraged!
Noah and The Nutcracker is a drop-in event held on Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Performances and story time will take place at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Cookie decorating, crafts, and games will take place throughout the event.
Parents, please stay with your children – this is not a drop-off program. Tickets are $15 per child ($12 for museum members.) For every child ticket, one adult may attend at no charge. Additional adults are $5 each. Pre-registration is recommended as space is limited. Get tickets!
