Join us in the Hamilton Gallery on November 4th from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for a Vintage Princess Purse Showcase by Sylvie Dahl.

Guests at the event will be able to view over 50 of her original designs including some children’s styles. All items in the collection will be available for purchase. Light refreshments will be served during the purse party. A special raffle that will benefit the Noah Webster House will give guests the chance to win one of the beautiful purses.

Sylvie Dahl moved to West Hartford from South Africa.  With her British heritage, background in South African Culture and now her U.S citizenship, her style is very diverse. She studied design in Johannesburg and is a fashion designer. Dahl worked in clothing manufacturing in both South Africa and the UK. She was a runner-up in design competitions in the UK and the USA. Originally her focus was on designing evening gowns but eventually she began to focus her attention to the design of purses. She has a passion for fabrics, and this can easily be seen in her purse designs. The fabrics are sources both locally and internationally.
