West Hartford History Center

Collection naming opportunities for you to create a lasting legacy.

The Noah Webster House is in the process of raising funds to upgrade the museum collections storage space. The renovated space will be called the West Hartford History Center.

In support of this effort the museum is offering you the opportunity to have your name or the name of a loved one on a collection. Please pick a collection that you find inspiring. Collections available for naming include Decorative Arts, Textiles, Education (yearbooks and memorabilia from West Hartford schools), Photographs & Postcards, Maps, Manuscripts, Goodwin Pottery, and Toys and Games.

The new space will have dedicated open hours so that the public can access the collections for research and education, state of the art environmental preservation conditions, and collapsible storage to allow the museum to preserve more of your history.

We would be happy to speak with you about the possibilities and you can view the full list of naming opportunities here.
