Our full day camp, offered in conjunction with West Hartford’s Westmoor Park.
Children can explore life in the 1700’s by spending a week as a colonial child! By doing activities at both the Noah Webster House and Westmoor Park, children experience first-hand the chores, games, and fun of colonial times. During the week, children get a taste for living in the past by helping to cook their lunches over an open hearth. They explore Noah Webster’s house and garden, work on crafts, make and play games, and learn colonial dances. At Westmoor Park, children care for the barnyard animals, tend the vegetable garden, and create crafts from nature.
Camp is held at two different locations: Monday/Wednesday/Friday sessions will be held at the Noah Webster House, 227 South Main Street. Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be held at Westmoor Park, 119 Flagg Road.
