The Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society is delighted to present an exhibit Pastel Paintings by Gina Trusiewicz. Join us on Thursday, May 4 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m for the gallery’s opening! The opening reception is free to the public. The exhibit will remain open until June 19, 2023.

According to Ms. Trusiewicz, the paintings included in this show have been inspired by what she sees around her in her daily life. Many are of her own backyard, or the birds and animals she sees there. The parks and golf courses around West Hartford, and even a little planter in a parking lot in the center have caught her eye. Gina strives to suggest the feeling these subjects give her, whether it be the brightness of the sunshine, the iridescence of a flower, or the sweet look on the face of a neighborhood bear as he has finished raiding her neighbor’s garbage can. She is excited to see her collection on exhibit. All of her pieces will be available for purchase.
