A dual citizen of the Republic of Ireland and the US, Debbie Gilbert has written seven poetry collections, the most recent, Finches in Kilmainham and Misneach: A Story of Kidnap, Enslavement, and Colonialism (Grayson Books, 2024). Three-time Pushcart nominee, she serves on the board of the Riverwood Poetry Series and as co-editor of the Connecticut River Review.
